StudentAid BC is sending this message on behalf of the Canada Student Loans Program (CSLP):
The National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLSC) secure website will be unavailable for maintenance from September 27 to October 5. Please note that:
- Log in to secure account will not be available – students won’t have access to their account information or to make online transactions, including submitting new MSFAAs/creating new accounts.
- This is necessary to finalize the exit from the repayment moratorium, which requires relatively significant manual adjustments while ensuring no changes are made by clients as they happen.
The public website will remain available. During the outage, a maintenance page will invite clients who need info about disbursement or their account to call. Call centre agents will be able to provide account/disbursement status information, make address/phone/email changes and provide repayment advice over the phone. Extra capacity will be added to the call centre during that time.
Please remind students to complete their Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) at the NSLSC website as soon as possible as funding cannot be released until these tasks are completed.
